Brought one of my friends for her birthday here last week: ordered a lot of stuff every one of it was amazing; traditional sashimi laced with truffle and foie gras is amazing. Yakitori was fantastic too. Mochi dessert was amazing and worth the 15 min wait. Service was attentive. Going back tomorrow! Reservations recommended.

Overall, the food justify the price we paid and it is better than we expected. The sashimi is expensive but in terms of quality, it is worth it and same goes to the foie gras. We spent quite a bit for our dinner and we enjoyed their food.

Uroko is becoming a go-to spot for contemporary Japanese fare in PJ's Section 17 residential neighbourhood - the setting is sleek but not intimidating (feel free to visit in T-shirts, shorts & slippers), the menu is extensive & enticing, service is faultlessly efficient & prices feel fitting. Trivia: The eatery's name is Japanese for 'scales,' explaining the patterns that dominate its decor.
